hey y'all. been about a month, and it's been a little crazy. first and foremost, I have mored my main operating system away from Windows 10/11 and am now running Arch Linux. the good news is that oh my god it's so much better than windows. the freedom it provides all within like 20 gigs RULES. no more having 500gigs dedicated to just the operating system alone!!! I can customize it to look like windows aero like a boss. the bad news is oh my god this is JANK. JAAAANK. worse jank than my dos days I feel, this is kinda nutty. but like anything I can learn to work with it!!! this is worth it!!!
the linux install is mostly going to be for personal care and relaxation. no work apps, just a couple games, a music app, a browser and discord. annoyingly (ugh) I will still be using a duelboot of windows for extra games that have no linux compat or ports and for a work enviornment. I hope one day that linux gets enough support for EVERYTHING, but for now that's not the case. not very awesome sauce, but I'll live. here's my install of strawberry
